Online Technology Conference March 1st & 2nd

Body:

Focus on Online Organizing, Communications and Marketing for Stronger State Parties

State Party staff are coming from around the country to learn how to apply the best practices in:

Online Organizing
Online Communications
Online Marketing & Fundraising
Far more in-depth than simply discussing the importance of these programs, this conference will give state parties the skills to move forward online with limited staff, money and time.

The program will be broken down into five sessions over two days. Each session will be directed by a leader in the online world with a breadth of experience in high-profile campaigns (Kerry/Dean/Corzine/Bloomberg), businesses and grassroots organizations.

'Day One' includes presentations on grassroots action and volunteer management. The first half of the day will cover Tabling, House Meetings, MeetUps, effective use of tools like event planners and volunteer centers, as well as other topics. The second half will focus on using grassroots action to push message through letters to the editor and writing more effective email.

'Day Two' moves into online marketing techniques for list building, creating effective downloadable materials, and building the online plan that is best for each state party.

This is an exciting program that will go a long way to building stronger state parties with more opportunity for grassroots participation in every state.

Grassroots Democrats does not charge state parties to attend our forums and works to make the trip as inexpensive as possible by securing lower rates at hotels and providing meals during their stay. Help us bring even more state party staff to this important forum - Contribute Toda
