Dana gained experience in campaign finance law and compliance working six years at the Democratic National Committee, first as a paralegal, then as Comptroller.   Prior to the DNC, Dana worked in Colorado Democratic politics for over 10 years.   She has managed campaigns at every level from school board to US Senate, worked as Field Director for Colorado Coordinated Campaign, and Political Director of the Colorado Democratic Party.   While in Colorado, Dana was active for 10 years on the Colorado Democratic Party Central Committee and Executive Committee and served as a County Chair.   Dana graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
